Hima Reddy, Ph.D.

Hima Reddy, Ph.D. earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2016. She received her master’s degree in Psychology in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2008. She is currently completing her postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at Brooklyn Learning Center and BLC Psychology Tribeca.

Dr. Reddy is trained in Preventing Academic Failure (PAF) and Parent Management Training (PMT), empirically supported treatments for reading disorder and AD/HD, respectively. Her work at NYU Medical Center, Four Winds Hospital, and within the private practice setting has led to a developing expertise in neuropsychological testing and cognitive remediation, as well as treatment of AD/HD, executive functioning weaknesses, anxiety, depression, oppositional behavior, and school refusal.

Dr. Reddy’s dissertation examined the innate enjoyment of thinking, learning, and intellectual challenge in emerging adults. She strives to combine learning strategies, theories of child development, motivational techniques, and neuropsychological test data to provide treatments that value each child’s unique qualities. Dr. Reddy is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
